Painting around your business hours
Offices along the GA-400 corridor, from North Point up to Windward, are full during the working day, and the shops and restaurants around Avalon and Downtown Alpharetta keep their own business hours. So the job is split into zones, and each zone is painted in the evening, on a weekend, or in a quieter stretch of the day.
After-hours scheduling, phased work, and low-odor coatings are covered in more depth in our guide to commercial painting without business downtime.
- /01Zone by zone
Split the building into zones
The property is divided into work zones: a suite, a floor, a corridor, a lobby, one side of the exterior. Areas outside the current zone can often stay in use by staff, tenants, and customers.
Zone by zone
- /02Evenings and weekends
Give each zone its own shift
Offices are painted in the evening or over a weekend or holiday shutdown. Most stores are painted after close, and if you need daytime work, one zone can be sectioned off while the rest of the floor keeps trading.
Evenings and weekends
- /03Advance notice
Tell the people affected
In shared buildings, a zone-based plan helps maintain access and gives occupants advance notice of temporary restrictions.

- /04Cleaned up daily
Hand the zone back ready
Workstations are covered and put back before staff return, and the crew cleans up daily, so each zone is handed back clean.

The service is GREAT. We needed to paint a commercial space, quick and on a budget and Stephen went out of his way to make this work. They quoted promptly, gave us a good price, and the best possible service. We were very impressed with the service of the company. Plus they were the only painting company we found who met all the insurance requirements we needed for the mall. They painted the interior and the exterior of our space. Great job! 100% recommended.

We are very pleased with the outside painting and staining work completed at our church. The team did an excellent job refreshing and staining our decks and repainting all outside surfaces. The finished result looks great. They were professional, courteous, and paid close attention to detail throughout the project. We appreciate their hard work and would gladly recommend them to other churches or organizations looking for quality painting and staining services.

10/10 Dunwoody Painters worked both on my home and my commercial office space and did an amazing job on both! Stephen was my main point of contact, and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. I am so pleased with the level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and the outcome of both jobs. I could not recommend them more.
Alpharetta commercial painting FAQ
Questions office managers and property managers raise before booking. For anything not covered here, call (678) 737-6776.
Yes. Office crews usually work from 6pm to 6am and leave the suite clean before your staff are back at their desks. A weekend or a holiday shutdown can be booked instead.
We can coordinate phased work in the shared spaces and the suites alike: lobbies, corridors, stairwells, amenity areas, parking structures, shared facilities, and individual tenant spaces.
We specify Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products made for heavy commercial wear, each one matched to the surface it goes on and to the demands of that space.
Plan on 3 to 6 nights for an office suite of about 5,000 square feet. A bigger floor is taken one suite at a time, and the written proposal gives you a firm schedule for the work.
Eligible commercial work carries our written workmanship warranty, and its terms are printed on the estimate and the final invoice. Coverage starts the day the project is completed, and if something is not right, we return and correct it at no cost to you.
