Dunwoody Painters in the News

What we have announced, and the publications that carried it. Every entry links out to the full release on that publication’s site.

  1. Painter on a ladder rolling white paint onto the gable of a house

AP News published Dunwoody Painters’ advice to homeowners in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Peachtree Corners, and East Cobb: move full exterior repaints to spring, and go ahead with interiors and cabinets now. The reason is the nights. Atlanta’s first freeze arrives around November 13 on average, according to 95.5 WSB meteorologist Kirk Mellish, and Sherwin-Williams advises keeping fresh exterior paint above the dew point for at least 48 hours.

  2. Carpenter pulling rotted trim away from the base of a house’s siding

The release on EIN Presswire draws a line between what can wait and what can’t. Rot gets worse through a wet winter: exposed wood on window sills and board ends takes on water every time it rains, and soft fascia spreads into the boards beside it. The crew replaces rotted fascia, soffits, casings, and siding boards now, then primes and paints the repairs on days inside the product’s temperature range.

  3. Kitchen with white perimeter cabinets and a navy blue sink base

The release carried on the site of WJBF ABC 6 in Augusta, Georgia also covers the indoor side of the calendar. Most rooms take one to three days, which fits a living room, dining room, or guest room into the weeks before Thanksgiving, and none of it depends on the weather. A typical kitchen takes four to six days with the sink and appliances still in service, which makes cabinets the project to start first for a household hosting in late November.
